Refund & Cancellation Policy
Applicable to all room and accommodation bookings at Hotel Kamrupa, Ganeshguri, Guwahati – 781006.
1. Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- An advance of 50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the check-in date.
- If full payment is not received within the required period, the booking may be automatically cancelled without refund.
2. Cancellation & Refund Rules
Please read the cancellation rules carefully before making any changes:

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@hotelkamrupa.com or via the official booking channel used at the time of reservation.
3. Date Changes / Rescheduling
- Date change requests are allowed subject to room availability.
- An administrative date alteration fee may apply; fees are subject to taxation.
- If new dates fall into a higher tariff period (festive/peak), the guest must pay the difference in tariff.
- Advance payments may be non-refundable for certain date changes depending on availability and the timing of the request.
4. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Refund settlements typically take 7–10 working days from approval, depending on banking/payment gateway timelines.
- Hotel Kamrupa is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment processors.
5. Early Check-out / Shortened Stay
No refunds will be given for early check-outs or reduction of stay after the guest has checked in unless otherwise stated in a special booking agreement.
6. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required at check-in to cover accidental damage or breakage. The deposit will be returned within 3 days after check-out following inspection, less any applicable deductions for damage.
7. Force Majeure
Hotel Kamrupa will not be liable for cancellations, refunds, or any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control — including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics. In such cases, we will work with affected guests to offer alternatives where possible.

Note: This policy applies to standard room bookings. Special corporate, group, or event contracts may have separate cancellation terms — those terms will supersede this policy where explicitly stated in writing.
